My introduction to the idea of a reincarnation soul trap and the Earth being a prison planet was via David Icke and his 2003 book, Tales From the Time Loop, where he explains his view of reality as a simulation like in the movie The Matrix. Icke wrote about how souls are manipulated into endlessly repeating life cycles within this “5-sense matrix” which is an illusion maintained by our collective consciousness. A shared dream in which we are lulled into never waking up from.
Intrigued by this theme, I went on to explore it in my first published graphic novel, Volume 1 of the Twilight Lady series. I asked myself these questions: if a reincarnation soul trap really existed, how would it work? What would it look like? And who is actually behind it? Rona Eden, a journalist and truthseeker, goes on a journey into the astral plane where she meets the soul of her deceased father, Takami, who is looking for a way “beyond the cycle of death and rebirth”. The story was my imagining of how manipulative forces may conspire to retain souls intent on being free, and their motives for doing so.

I would expand on this theme in subsequent volumes of Twilight Lady, exploring scenarios involving soul harvesting and karmic retribution. Truth being stranger than fiction, I would discover later through due diligence writer research that this type of stuff actually happens for real and all manner of parasites and predators exist in the ethereal realms, as many spiritually-attuned individuals have testified.
So is Earth a prison? Are we trapped in a simulation? And how do we escape?

I have never subscribed to the notion that we are all just victims of a big, bad soul-sucking matrix and the only salvation is to break free. That has always felt like programmed thinking, a psyop designed to take power and responsibility away from each of us sovereign beings. Of the theories out there about the nature of reality and consciousness, I resonate most with that of a holographic universe where physical matter, though appearing solid, is comprised of particles vibrating at different frequencies. This holographic reality can be changed, even transformed, by altering the vibrational frequency of said particles.
One way of doing this is through thought. Every thought emits a ripple, an energy wave. With focus and repetition, any thought or combination of thoughts has power and infinite potential to influence reality. This is why human consciousness has the ability to manifest both its greatest desires and its darkest fears, depending on our focus and emotional state. Harnessing the full power of our ability to manifest involves not just imagining and visualizing, but also imbuing those thoughts with emotion. And the stronger the emotion, the more powerful and effective the manifestation. This works, and I have experienced it firsthand.
So then, if Earth is indeed a prison, is it not one of our own collective making? Why waste energy and focus on escaping this “trap”, when we possess the power to transform any prison into a paradise?
A flip side to this is that there is a sizable population of souls currently incarnated as Earth humans who have good reason to feel that they belong elsewhere. These are starseeds, people whose souls originated from other worlds and even galaxies. Many of these souls chose to incarnate here as part of a mission to assist in the evolution of human consciousness. So when these missions are over, will they be able to return to their home planets? According to extraterrestrial contactee Alex Collier, himself a Zenate starseed from the Andromeda constellation, the answer is yes and he explains how: by turning away from the famous “tunnel of light” and our loved ones, as difficult as that may be (it stands to reason that attachment to Earth-bound family members may be one of the main things keeping starseed souls from returning home).
But why would one wish to leave now, when humanity is about to enter a golden age of rapid consciousness evolution and technological progress? Having experienced life on Earth during the dark ages, the end of the Kali Yuga cycle, why not stay and enjoy the good times? Especially for fellow kindred souls who have devoted so much of their lives to facilitating this great awakening. I expect we will be partaking in the fruits of our labor very soon.
