“I was Playin’..”??? I doubt it. Rona’s decision to rather cut her body up than letting Jason inhabit it any further got Jason realizing his bluff failed. So, cowardly as he is ,he’d rather take his losses and run.

I’ll give a pass on his “loyalty” claim. He went through a lot to get his friends back the first time. He just also wanted them “back to life”… since his buddies didn’t want to be zombies and the plan didn’t work, he might as well go search them out again… until next time.

His “playin” story is honestly more consistant with his actions so far than keeping the body would be, so I for one believe him.
