On a different note: I finished high-school just before the end of Apartheid in SA. our school was only Indians, so we had a large proportion of Muslims (totally disproportionate when compared to the general population). anyway, there was an issue where a Hindu teacher dropped a Koran (the Muslim ‘bible’, not a Korean), apparently by mistake. The Muslim kids went on strike for a week until that teacher was reprimanded or suspended or something! I knew some of those kids (I finished school 2 years before that incident) and they were just kids using any excuse to bunk school 🙂
