Been reading since page 20 came out, I’m just one of those silent observers authors occasionally fear that don’t exist. >_>
I’ve liked it pretty much over all, its the only strip I regularly vote for just to peek at what’s next, but in particular I have a question about the current panel. Its been an ongoing thing that Perce smokes a ton, but each time in the physical realm you see her lighting it up, or at least closing her palms to where a lighter doesn’t have to be seen.
In this one s/he literally has her hands open, making it plainly evident (Or I need glasses) that there’s no lighter. Is there something in particular about this, foreshadowing of some sort, or is that simply because its a minimalistic desire in Sense Realm easily given form?
Ah… with the recent revelations about Eleanor, I think I may have realized the source of her enmity with the Lady.
Eleanor is an angel… and, it would appear, angels are the wardens of the prison that is Senserealm. The prison the Lady seeks to release people from (and of which she is now a very problematic prisoner herself). It would appear they’re working at cross purposes. If my guess about what angels are is correct.

Apparently Perse, in the course of her/his travails in the astral plane, has learned the trick of lighting a cigarette with her/his bare open palm.
Are you telling me you’ve never come across anyone, even in Senserealm, with the ability to do this? 😉
